i agree with you all that the character of Katie beyond saving and no matter how much she whines i'll never feel sorry for her when Jack and Carly eventually get back together. I don't even recognize this show anymore and for some reason tuned in today to see this farce of a relationship that is Jack and Katie. The only part of teh show I actually liked and that reminded me of the show I used to like was Henry and Vienna but I"m sure they'll eventually screw that up too. They just rotate tall, dark haired men Katie's way whenever an actor leaves the show so how can anybody get invested in her storyline anymore. blah...so glad i'm no longer regularly watching.

this is more for those of you not watching the show anymore. i thought you might enjoy seeing what's become of our dear little katie. i hear her say the words and i see her mouth move, but i have to actually go back in the transcript to see if it's true.

here's yesterday's little pearls of wisdom:

Katie: I wanted us to be different.

Jack: Different then what though? Different than you and mike?

Katie: Yeah different than me and every other guy I thought I loved.

Jack: Oh, so you think --

Katie: I just -- I keep making the same mistake. That's the problem. I jump in. I don't look. And then later on the down the road, when things are going wrong, I remember those neon warning signs that I saw and ignored. I just -- I didn't want that for us.

Katie: I don't know, it's just -- the call. You did think it was her, right?

Jack: Okay, yes, I thought it was her, but I didn't want to talk to her because I had you in my arms. I didn't want carly to ruin that for us.

Katie: Me either. I panicked when I thought it was her. I was like, oh god, I've got to make love to him as quickly as possible so I can make that connection, make that bond, before she comes back and claims her husband.

let's not forget...

Katie: Okay, I just want to make sure that I'm not some sort of test run to make sure over her?

Jack: Man, that is not what's happening.

Katie: It's just that I've been in your position. And I didn't even know what was happening, but I thought that loving mike might save me from my feelings that I still had for simon, but it didn't work

i'm sure there will be plenty more from the new and improved katie. on the plus side, those not watching don't have to see the bitch in action. yeah...the love scene was horrid. but yet so romantic.....on the floor.

Soap's Controversial New Love Story!

"It's going to be a different summer with no slashers killing people or people being pushed down stairs," says Van Hansis (Luke) of his latest storyline. Although the network's Standards and Practices will likely keep Luke and Noah's love story from being as physical as most soap romances, Silbermann says he's willing to turn up the heat. listening to margo talk about how wonderful katie is and how she wouldn't have gotten through the last few months without katie's phone calls and lunch with katie....blah blah  wouldn't it have been nice to actually maybe see one of those phone calls or lunches taking place?

or how about all the shit katie's talking about ALL the times she was there for carly's kids? jigga wha? another thing that would have been nice to see with my own eyes because listening to her prop herself up is too unbelievable. i remember a couple of occasions where katie approached carly's kids and they were rude to her. not sure those are supposed to count.

you can't rewrite katie's history. she's always been selfish and she always will be. remember people.....actions speak louder than words. that goes for words on a script too.

it's a bit of role reversal. the whore left mike and mike moved on with the dragon. the whore came back and took mike back from said dragon.

carly left jack and jack moved on with the whore. now carly's back it's time to get said whore away from jack.

I hate that they tainted Jack with her.  Ew.  Katie nor Terri are in the same league as Jack and or Michael Park. 

They need to get away from each other NOW.  I love Jack and I hate having to fast forward him because the sight of her makes me want to throw up.  It pisses me off. 

I loved how Carly said her name the other day .. like Kayteeee .. that she cancells out her Simon.  hee hee.  They are both scum of the earth and below Jack and Carly.  IMHO, of course.  lol

Okay, so I randomly caught some of the show while getting my nails done on Tuesday afternoon (I'll need to remember that they are CBS watcher and be sure I go at 12:30 next time!) and noticed that Barbara was talking like she had a mouth full of rocks.  Or Colleen was, rather.  What's up with that?  Did she get smacked in the face?  Is it plastic surgery gone bad?  Or did she have a cap adjusted that day?
